Our Services

Distinctive Decor and Design, LLC offers a variety of services with options that are targeted to your individual needs, whether you need a little advice or an extensive plan. Please contact us for a free, no obligation phone consultation to discuss your needs and how our services may help you! 

In-Home Consultation ~

We meet with you for about 1 – 2 hours to discuss your project in detail, go over your goals and expectations, and provide you with our recommendations either verbally or with a follow up written report.  Our basic verbal in-home consultation is great for those who want some quick staging or redesign advice and tips, and for those who plan to do the work on their own. 

During our in-home consultation, we may also take pictures and notes to use in a follow up written report which is typically sent out within 2-3 business days after our meeting.  This report specifies our recommended action plan and includes a proposal for our services.  The consultation fee is credited back if our services are contracted after the consultation.

Vacant Home Staging ~

We coordinate the selection, delivery and proper placement of rental furniture and accessories. We also provide recommendations for any home improvements that could be made while keeping within the architectural style and target market of potential buyers.  Complimentary before and after photographs are provided for your listing with this service.

Model Home Merchandising ~  

As interior stylists, we showcase newly constructed homes and assist builders in the planning, design, furnishing and decoration of model homes.  We work within the builders specifications, budget and targeted buyer market to merchandise the home.

Occupied Home Staging ~

We will work with the home seller according to an agreed upon action plan based on our recommendations to improve the marketability of the home. We will try to use as much of the existing furnishings and accessories as possible. In order to create the right look, however, we can arrange for additional items to be rented or purchased. Complimentary before and after photographs are provided for your listing with this service. 

Interior Redesign ~

A redesign is an affordable way to update your home and repurpose your existing furnishings wherever possible. Our goal is to create a new space designed according to your own personal decorating tastes and lifestyle. We can do a one day room makeover to rearrange furniture for a better flow and reposition accessories for a more attractive look.   If you have recently moved, this is a perfect time to use our service to help you get established in your new home.

Decorating Services ~ 

We offer decorating solutions for large or small sized projects, whether you are in need of a total home makeover or just some finishing touches. We will help you choose a color palette and decorating style suitable for your home and lifestyle.  We pass along available designer discounts to you from manufacturers and retailers as we select quality furniture, window treatments, artwork, lighting, accessories and flooring for your home or small business.

Professional Organizing ~

We provide creative ways to organize any room in your home that may need de-cluttering, better storage and space saving solutions. Our home organizing service can be requested either by itself or used in conjunction with our Home staging and redesign services.

Color Consultations ~

We can help you select appropriate paint colors for your home, that will also coordinate with colors of adjacent rooms for a more cohesive look. During our consultation, we will bring chips and color sheets from quality paint manufacturers, such as Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. Once the colors are narrowed down, larger color sheets or samples can be ordered for you before you make a final decision.

Shopping Services ~

We can either shop for you, or accompany you, in selecting home goods and furnishings to purchase or to rent for staging or decorating purposes. Since we have connections with many retail stores and suppliers, we can usually pass down available discounts as a special savings to our clients. 

Special Occasion or Event Decorating ~

For any holiday that you are celebrating, contact us to get your home in tip top shape and decorated for the celebration. We can decorate your home for any reason or special occasion - whether just the season, a themed party or small dinner gathering. Let us help you make your next event a memorable one!
